The (gravel) hills are alive! So join us as we explore the incredibly scenic and quiet (managed + closed) gravel roads surrounding Marysville.
The Gravel Giro will be a cracker; you’ll ride stunning forested climbs, flow down ridge lines and enjoy everything in between. Race or ride. But one thing is for sure; it’s the perfect and rewarding compliment to Sunday’s Giro della Donna.

Is the event timed?
The Gravel Giro will be timed, so you’ll be able to race the clock, and compare your time with your riding buddies.
Can I ride this route on a road bike?
For sure. Although we strongly recommend riding a gravel-specific or cycle-cross-style bike. If opting for a road bike, we recommend fitting, if you’re frame allows, a robust 32mm+ tyre; plus carrying 2+ spare tubes. There is no reason why you couldn’t also ride a mountain bike.
The conditions of the road can vary, but we keep all riders up to date on the state of the gravel sectors in the lead-in to the event.
